The Ministry comprises of four departments, which are all scattered around Ghana. The aims of the Ministry are achieved through the combined efforts of all the Ministry's four departments and units.
We, the Ministry Works and Housing, exist to provide competitive services in Ministry Works and Housing Administration.
These services are provided through informed and trained human resources for customer satisfaction and national prosperity using appropriate technology and effective policies and legislation.
We dedicate ourselves to deliver these in a timeous, transparent, courteous, disciplined, fair, reliable and accountable manner".

Develop and administer land related policy and legislation.
Set land management and administration standards Coordinate programmes and facilitate land related projects.Oversees administration of state land advice government in land dispute resolution carry out research to provide information for land related decisions.
Objectives and Functions
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) is a government agency, re-established under the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Act, 1994 (Act 478 ):
To encourage, promote and facilitate investments in all sectors of the economy except mining and petroleum.
To co-ordinate and monitor all investment activities falling under Act 478 and assist both domestic and foreign investors in:
. Initiating and supporting measures that will, enhance the investment climate in the country for both Ghanaian and non-Ghanaian companies;
. Promoting investments in and outside Ghana through effective promotion;
. Collecting, collating, analyzing and disseminating information about investment opportunities and sources of investment capital, and advising on the availability, choice or suitability of partners in joint-venture projects;
. Registering and keeping records of all enterprises to which this Act is applicable those projects initiating, organizing and participating in promotional activities, such as exhibitions, conferences and seminars for the stimulation of investments;
. Maintaining a liaison between investors and ministries, government departments and agencies, institutional lenders and other authorities concerned with investments;
. Providing and disseminating up-to-date information on incentives available to investors;
. Assisting investors by providing support services including assistance with permits required for the establishment and operation of enterprises;
. Evaluating the impact of the centre on the investments in the country and recommending appropriate changes where necessary;
. Registering and keeping records of all technology-transfer agreements relating to investments under this Act;
. Performing such other functions as are incidental to the attainment of the objectives of this Act.
Organizational Structure
The Centre is administered by an eight-member Board of Directors, the majority of two are from the private sector. The management team is headed by the Chief Executive, two Deputy Chief Executives (in charge of Operations and support Services ) and five Directors as head of Division. The Centreˇs functions are carried out through five (5) operational Divisions:
. Investor Services - This Division has responsibility for the newly created Investor Service centre, the one-stop-shop.
. Research Planning and Development - This has two main departments, namely Corporate Planning and Research department and Project Evaluation & Monitoring.
. Promotion and Public Relations - This Division has four Departments, namely Public Relations, Non-Resident Ghanaians, external Promotions and Local Promotions Departments.
. Finance and Administration - This has the Finance & Budget Department and the Human Resource development Department.
. Management Information Systems - This Division also has two Departments, namely Information Technology and Information Documentation.
